Chalet du Soldat – FR

The Gastlosen mountain range stretches between Gruyère and Simmental and is about 15 km long. A real natural barrier between two linguistic regions, the Gastlosen have extended their reputation all over the world, particularly among climbers who come every year to climb routes of all difficulties. Hikers are not to be outdone, as several routes allow them to discover the magnificent landscapes of this typical mountain range of the Pre-Alps rising above the pastures.

A hike under the sign of solidarity and sharing. GSAB Aventures, in collaboration with the association Différences Solidaires, offers you the opportunity to discover the enchanting landscape of the Gastlosen, an ideal itinerary for hiking with a Joëlette (hiking chair for people with reduced mobility). The route is enhanced by spectacular passages on the mythical Fribourg cliff.
A hike open to all but accessible to people with reduced mobility as well as to those interested in driving Joëlettes (hiking chairs specially designed for people with reduced mobility).

For people with reduced mobility, two options are available:
– Use of Joëlettes (special hiking chairs with electric assistance) requiring the help of three people.- Use of Quadrix, electric all-terrain wheelchairs that can be driven independently with a handlebar or a joystick.
A picnic of Park-labelled products can be ordered.
